TickTick Integration

Sync your meeting action items directly to TickTick tasks. The connection uses OAuth2 — no tokens or developer tools required.

Pro Feature

TickTick integration requires a Clearminutes Pro subscription.

Requirements

  • Clearminutes Pro subscription
  • A TickTick account (free or paid)

Connect TickTick

  1. Open Clearminutes and go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Under Task Manager, select TickTick
  3. Click Connect TickTick
  4. Your browser opens the TickTick authorisation page — log in if prompted
  5. Click Allow to grant Clearminutes access to your TickTick account
  6. The browser closes and Clearminutes shows Connected ✓

That's it. No API keys, no browser console, no manual token copying.

How It Works

After each meeting, Clearminutes extracts action items from the AI summary and syncs them to TickTick automatically. Each task includes:

  • Task name — the action item text
  • Description — meeting context and any relevant detail
  • Due date — if a date was mentioned in the meeting
  • Assignee — if a name was detected alongside the action

Tasks land in your TickTick Inbox by default. You can move them to any project from within TickTick.

Manual Tasks

Tasks you create manually in the Actions view also sync to TickTick when auto-sync is enabled. This works the same way as extracted action items:

  1. Go to the Actions tab
  2. Click New Action
  3. Enter the task details (description, assignee, due date, notes)
  4. Click Save

The task syncs to your TickTick Inbox in the background within a few seconds. You don't need to click a separate Sync button.

If you create several tasks in quick succession, Clearminutes batches them into a single sync to avoid duplicate tasks and rate-limit issues. The first task in the batch triggers the sync, and any tasks created while the sync is running are picked up in that same pass.

Auto-sync settings

Control how manual and extracted tasks sync:

  • All — sync every action item (default)
  • Mine — sync only items assigned to you (requires a user profile with your name)
  • Off — disable auto-sync entirely; use the manual Sync button in Actions view instead

To change the setting: Settings → Integrations → TickTick → Auto-sync.

Manual sync

If auto-sync is off, or you want to push a task to TickTick immediately:

  1. Select one or more tasks in the Actions view
  2. Click the Sync button
  3. Tasks are pushed to TickTick one by one

Disconnect TickTick

Go to Settings → Integrations → TickTick and click Disconnect. This revokes Clearminutes' access immediately. No data is deleted from TickTick.

Troubleshooting

The authorisation page didn't open Make sure your default browser is set and that pop-ups are not blocked for the TickTick domain.

Tasks are not appearing in TickTick

  • Confirm you're on a Pro subscription (Settings → Account)
  • Check that the connection still shows Connected — if not, reconnect
  • Ensure the meeting summary contains action items (they must be extracted by the AI before they can sync)

Manual tasks are not syncing

  • Check that auto-sync is not set to Off in Settings → Integrations → TickTick
  • If auto-sync is set to Mine, make sure your user profile name matches the assignee on the task
  • Manual tasks need to have a connected TickTick account — verify the connection shows Connected
  • If tasks still don't sync, try clicking the Sync button in the Actions view as a fallback

Connected but tasks stopped syncing OAuth tokens expire after extended inactivity. Go to Settings → Integrations → TickTick, click Disconnect, then Connect TickTick again to refresh the connection.
